The Qring Communication Policy
Why
Qring operates on Client trust as well as on trust between co-workers. Large values can be at stake which involve aspects that Qring cannot always be aware of. The only way to handle this is to treat information received or gained as confidential.
Therefore, confidentiality with respect to a third party is key in how we think, act, and operate. We handle any information entrusted to us with personal and corporate integrity.
Information (Communication) and equipment provided to us is Client property and must be protected by us.
Communication means all forms of communication, including but not limited to:
- Direct verbal communication
- Physical mail and e-mail
- SMS, Twitter, LinkedIn, Skype, etc.
Client equipment is stored in a responsible manner as appropriate, in premises protected from physical access by locks and alarms. If equipment needs to be transported, we will do so with the utmost care to ensure it arrives safely.
In short, we protect Client communication and equipment as well as our own communication and equipment.
How
At Qring, we do not inform third parties of Client and Project-specific details.
For marketing purposes, we may mention that we have worked for a:
- Client
- Site or Project
- Problem type
However, Qring will never reveal specific information to a third party and we will never divulge current information without Client approval.
As a consequence, information regarding what we do will always be two or more years out of date before we use it, unless we have a specific agreement with a Client that it is okay to show a particular piece of work or if a Client agrees to act as a reference.
